GLYCERINE: THE NATURALLY EFFECTIVE HUMECTANT.
- Authors
Greive, Kerryn
- Abstract
Glycerine is not just a passing fad, rather it is a naturally occurring humectant, whose topical benefits we have known about for a long time, but are only just now beginning to understand fully.Topically applied, glycerine can be actively taken up by skin cells and has been shown to be effective in relieving dry skin conditions and keeping healthy skin healthy. When correctly formulated, glycerine can be both protective and restorative.
