- Authors
Stites-Doe, Susan
- Abstract
The article reports on a collaborative study which focused on job rotation in relation to career development. Research by Michael A. Campion and Michael J. Stevens of Purdue University and Lisa Cheraskin of Eli Lilly & Company found that job rotation enhanced promotion and salary rates and the acquisition of new business and technical skills. Interviews with executives from one organization in the pharmaceutical industry provided information about work history and background factors such as job tenure.
