- Abstract
The article presents the jurisprudence relative to academic deference doctrine to employment decisions challenged as discriminatory. It analyzes several employment discriminations case law that reflect the doctrine as a basis for granting employers summary judgment or judgment as a matter of law. Finally, it discusses the implications of the dismissal of employment discrimination claims based on academic deference.
