- Abstract
The article discusses the screenwriting for the sound recordings of several films including "Apocalypse Now," "How to Train Your Dragon," and "The King's Speech." It notes the point of view in the script of director Francis Coppola in "Apocalypse Now," as well as the sound effects made by Richard Beggs in the film. The author further highlights the sound design in the dialogue of the film "The King's Speech" which earned a nomination in the Academy Awards for the sound category.
