- Abstract
Balneary tourism is one of the most important forms of tourism in our country. Since ancient times, tremendous efforts were made for these areas to be developed in order to attract a large number of tourists. Romania has a remarkable spa potential, worth to be exploited in the coming years. Amara's spa resorts are part of that remarkable tourism potential. For some time in this destination were conducted a series of research aiming to identify the main elements contributing to higher levels of satisfaction for tourists. The results of studies led to the implementation of a strategic development plan aimed at improving comfort conditions, procedures performed and services rendered in specially equipped units. This paper supports this approach, aimed at developing a model of satisfaction analysis to identify the main influence factors which contribute to the satisfaction of tourists.
