- Abstract
The article presents a case study on the 40-year follow-up a Japanese family suffering from Axenfeld-Rieger syndrome (ARS). Clinical examination shows no systemic developmental defects in the proband and her son. It notes that the ARS diagnosis was made to both based on the characteristic anterior segment dysgenesis and family history. It finds out that the disease process was in its advance stage.
