- Abstract
The article examines Cleidodiscus monogenean trematodes' link to clinical disease in black crappies (Pomoxis nigromaculatus), discussing how a praziquantel drug bath treatment can facilitate removal of these organisms. Praziquantel is reportedly considered to be one of the most useful anthelmintics employed to target trematodes and cestodes in both human and veterinary medicine. It suggests that praziquantel be used against different parasites in different fish hosts.
