In the article, the author discusses the principles of learning in higher education. She focuses on three principles, namely, stories and examples, anchored learning, and multiple examples. She cites the theory of cognitive development theorist Jerome Bruner on how humans organize their experiences and memory of happenings in their lives. She also suggests that teachers use case studies to facilitate learning among their students.
