- Abstract
In many disciplines such as sociology it is possible to find objects whose characteristics may change over time or depend on certain parameters. Such objects are usually termed dynamic. As is the case for static objects it is possible to state problems of classification, analysis of interrelations of signs, factor analysis. In the paper a problem of pattern recognition concerning dynamic objects is stated. The proposed algorithm for recognition of changing objects was used for solving a number of practical problems. The mathematical problem considered in the paper originated in some social problems associated with studies of working careers. In labor mobility studies, the relationship among different types of mobility is important. One such problem concerns the interrelationship between migration and working career for rural residents. In solving this problem, it was found that migrational behavior was greatly influenced by working career, which makes it possible to forecast migration according to working career without using estimational signs. A decision about migration is made approximately within the two years directly preceding the migrational act.
