- Abstract
The article explores the history of the Battle of Caseros near Buenos Aires, Argentina. The author describe the battle that saw the Argentinean forces under Brigadier General Don Juan Manuel Ortiz de Rosas against the allied forces led by General Justo José de Urquiza. Aspects of combat are discussed such as cavalry and artillery divisions, attacks on wagon entrenchments, and the taking of prisoners.
