- Abstract
The article presents a functional network model on song syntax generation in the Bengalese finch based of realistic spiking neurons. It mentions that the Bengalese finch produces a song syntax which after deafening on it, the syntax is disrupted, however, after the normal syntax of the song is recovered when hearing is restored. It is noted that the vocal motor control system of the Bengalese finch rely on real time auditory feedback.
