- Abstract
The article presents a study which examined the effectiveness of highly sensitive allele-specific quantitative polymerase chain reaction (AS-qPCR) in the monitoring and early detection of relapsed Janus kinase 2 gene (JAK2 V617F) myelofibrosis (MF) following allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (SCT). Based on the results, AS-qPCR is more sensitive than pyrosequencing in detecting relapse/refractory disease (R/R) in patients.
