- Abstract
The article focuses on decellularization, which provides three-dimensional architecture and complex natural heart extracellular matrix (ECM). Topics discussed include a study by researcher H.C. Ott, which showed perfusion-decellularized bioengineered heart matrix by seeding endothelial and cardiac cells, a study on implantation of embryonic stem cells in decellularized rat heart by researcher S.L. Ng, and a study by researcher T.Y. Lu on bioengineered heart's spontaneous contraction.
