- Title
Zinc-finger nucleases transition to the CoDA.
- Authors
Segal, David J.
- Abstract
The article discusses the studies that introduce a transition of zinc-finger nucleases (ZFNs) to context dependent assembly (CoDA) to improve the target performance of ZFNs in creating nucleases. It mentions that the transitions has been proven effective as it increases the target performance of the ZFNs to 40% in a single study done by Sander, J. D. and colleagues. It mentions that the method is deemed to improve the success application of ZFNs in the application of protein engineering.
