The article focuses on a series of playing companies and their repertoires that existed in England from 1564 until the closing of the theatres in 1642. It mentions the Admiral's Men in 1585 who performed plays including "The Spanish Tragedy" in 1587, "1 Tamburlaine" in 1587 and "Old Fortunatus" in 1599. Meanwhile, The King's Revels Men set up in 1629 and performed at Salisbury Court playhouse in London, England with their play such as "The Rebellion," in 1636 and "The Wasp," in 1637.
