The article focuses on the musical analysis of the composition "Cheetah," by Karel Husa. It discusses Husa's musical sophistication and historical significance in the 20th century. It says that "Cheetah," was premiered at Carnegie Hall in New York City on March 8, 2007. It discusses the development and expansion of four scalar lines on the opening of "Cheetah," the melody of the thrombone, euphonium and tuba displaying chromaticism, and the harmony in the saxophone and marimba.
