- Abstract
The article discusses chemical event responsiveness and why it is a responsibility shared by multi sectors. Topics include a discussion of the role of the International Health Regulations (IHR) in regards to chemical event responsiveness, a description of the Regional Consultation by the IHR and its stakeholders such as the Centre for Environmental Health Action (CEHA), and an outline of the important points discussed in the IHR meeting held in Jordan in April 2014.
