The article profiles Anna Verona Dorris (AVD) and her contribution to the field of visual education in the U.S by establishing the Visual Instruction Movement. It mentions that the movement began in the early 1990s and considered a part of visual education that was later known as educational technology. AVD was the professional educator who authored the first comprehensive text dealing with visual instruction which provided a stimulus for students to search out further sources of information. Anna Verona Dorris lived her credo, which makes learning easy and enjoyable.
