The article offers information about K-5 Geo-Source web site designed by the American Geological Institute and the Kids' Pages by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences. The K-5 Geo-Source, allegedly, is a professional development web site for elementary-level teachers who teach Earth science topics such as weather, fossils, rocks, soil and water. It features resources designed to help teachers master standards-based science content. The Kids' Pages, on the other hand, is reputed as a web site where students can be exposed to more science career options. It is said to offer information that will inspire students to learn more about environmental health research careers, with interviews with a lung doctor, a wetland ecologist and a microbiologist.
