- Authors
Baggott, Rob
- Abstract
The article discusses about the proposed reform of the liquor licensing law in Great Britain. According to the article, this move is expected to be a controversial issue as people are concerned that this might contribute to another dramatic growth of alcohol abuse cases. It highlights important issues surrounding liquor licensing such as the origin of the liquor licensing law, aspects of control working in the status quo, purpose of the law and the review of the law that is proposed to be liberalized. A comparative analysis of the reviews conducted about the liquor licensing law by Lord Errol of Hale and Christopher Clayson is also presented.
