- Abstract
The article discusses the role of management accounting to the service quality and performance measure of the accounting functions of management accountants. It highlights the survey results which indicate that management accounting service do not deliver the expected quality of service, while noting that communications is the weakest link of service quality. It recommends that business enterprises must incorporate management accounting service quality to key performance measure of the accounting functions aside from the internal service functions like human capital, information systems, and customer service.
