- Abstract
This letter to the editor responds to an article titled "The impact of health care on outcomes of suspected testicular torsion: results from the GRAND study" published in the World Journal of Urology. The authors of the letter congratulate the original authors on their research but raise some concerns. They suggest that the study's sample size, limited to German patients, may limit its generalizability to other populations. They also point out the subjective nature of diagnosing testicular torsion and suggest adding objective criteria. Additionally, they note that certain perioperative outcomes were not included in the study. Finally, they recommend further research on the prognosis of patients with orchiopexy and those without after testicular torsion.
