- Abstract
The article reports that the surface concentration of H-2 complex antigens was measured by a quantitative immunoferritin labelling technique on hepatocytes and macrophages from five mouse strains with three haplotypes. Major histocompatibility complex (MHC) molecules are present in most or all tissues, but much remains to be learned about tile quantitative aspects of their expression on different cell types, in different haplotypes, and with varying genetic backgrounds. Washing the peritoneal cavities of mice with heparinized isotonic saline collected resident peritoneal macrophages
