- Abstract
In this study, Ti02/Ti3C2 nanocomposites were successfully synthesized by a simple one-step hydrothermal method. The composite is obtained by growing Ti02 crystal particles on two-dimensional layered Ti3C2, and the composite material combines the excellent photocatalytic performance of Ti02 and the good electron transporting property of Ti3C2. The phase composition and microstructure of Ti02/Ti3C2 composites were analyzed by XRD.SEM.TEM and BET.and their photocatalytic properties were tested. This combination facilitates the rapid separation and transmission of photogenerated carriers generated under illumination conditions,and achieves the purpose of accelerating photocatalytic degradation of organic dyes. The results show that the photocatalytic degradation efficiency of Ti02/Ti3C2 composites is significantly better than that of Ti3C2 and Ti02.
