The article focuses on study of metabolizable protein of beef cows affected by processing supplemental corns on consuming forage supplemented with cottonseed meal. Topics discussed include microbial protein (MCP) as an essential part of metabolizable protein (MP), improvement of availability of starch in rumen through processing corn and effects of supplemental corn on intake and digestion of beef cows.
