- Abstract
The article presents a study which aims at analyzing the presence of the Blackheaded Weaver Ploceus melanocephalus in the regions of Iberian Peninsula in its early stages of invasion. According to the research, melanocephalus competes with other native species including the Great Reed Warbler Acrocephalus arundinaceus and the Eurasian Reed Warbler A. scirpaceous.
