The article focuses on the issue of participatory research and the democratization of knowledge production, particularly in anthropology. It highlights the challenges and limitations of collaborative ethnography and similar projects that aim to equalize the researcher and the researched, ultimately questioning the effectiveness and true democratization achieved through such approaches.
