- Abstract
The article offers the author's views on U.S. President Barack Obama's new science team consisting of physicist Stephen Chu, marine biologist Jane Lubchenko, and arms control expert John Holdren. He says, the ability of these leaders in contributing to the nation will not depend only on technical expertise. He states that Obama's administration should be encouraged for a scientific transition. He notes that the leaders should lead the way for research and development in institutional innovation.
