- Abstract
Erythromelanosis follicularis faciei (EFF) is a skin disease characterized by sharply limited erythema, hyperpigmentation and follicular papules on the cheeks and chin and rarely on the forehead and neck. It shows an autosomal recessive transition and its etiology is not known. Although there are cases in which family history has been reported in the literature, there is no report of EFF in the early childhood period and present in all siblings. We have reported two sisters and a brother with early onset age, showing all clinical manifestations of the disease with erythromelanosis follicularis at 4, 5, and 6 years of age, because of describing its genetic trait.
