- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 63-year-old female with a three-year-history of Type I narcolepsy with cataplexy, had persistent episodes of cataplexy and significant daytime sleepiness despite treatment with venlafaxine and methylphenidate. Topics include changes in her condition after she started on sodium oxybate, possible risk factors for Cheyne-Stokes respirations (CSA-CSR), and information on sodium oxybate.
