- Abstract
The article discusses the need for the establishment of an adverse drugs reactions (ADR) reporting service in Pakistan. Topics discussed include failure of an initiative taken by the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) led by professor Akhlaq-un-Nabi Khan to form an ADR centre, failure of the effort of Pakistani Health Ministry to establish ADR centre, and the reluctance of doctors to report ADR due to fear of losing favours from the pharmaceutical industry.
