- Abstract
The objective of this study is to identify the percentage of resolution of consultations carried out by a nurse in a basic health unit with (BHU) advanced access. This is an experience report carried out in a BHU in the South Zone of São Paulo, in partnership with Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein and the Municipal Health Secretariat, where "Advanced Access (AA)" was implemented, replacing the scheduling model. It started from the cataloging of consultations performed by nurses between July and December 2018, totaling 677. Consultations with "High" outcome were considered to be resolvable, and the consultations that required medical intervention, with the outcome "Internal referral in the day", "non-resolving". The nurse reached a score of 87.7% of resolvability. It is concluded that despite the AA model proposed by Murray and Tantau to focus on medical work, the Brazilian adaptation incorporating the nurse in the assistance, expands the population's access with resoluteness to the demands.
