- Abstract
The copyright has two dimensions worthy of protection: an economic and a moral one. In its complexity the copyright deserves special protection in forecasting the international treatises from which the Berne Convention is highlighted. In Brazil, there are a legal and constitutional traditions aimed to protect the copyright. Being property and moral rights, it should be considered a personality right. Some authors believe that this is a fundamental right. This study aims to examine the limits of copyright after the death of the author and the contours of transmissibility. There is a transmissibility of copyright in their size sheet, but there is no such transmission and to the moral dimension. In this case, transfer to the successors of the author, the legitimacy for their protection.
