Experts Agree That Gasohol Offers Short Term Savings.
- Abstract
The article reports on the potential of gasohol in saving up to 10% of the U.S. gasoline consumption for automobiles. Experts state that gasohol can make contributions in alleviating the import and agricultural problems in the U.S. especially when produced for local use. These experts believe that gasohol derived from crops, such as grains and sugar cane, probably become of great help for the country for the next five years. Gasohol is defined as a motor fuel consisting of a mixture of 10% agriculturally derived anhydrous ethyl alcohol and 90% regular unleaded gasoline.
