- Abstract
Introduction: Stress is defined as a physical, chemical, or emotional factor that causes mental tension and results in a factor of causing disease. The Indian information technology (IT) industry is fast-growing service with stressful work conditions. The aim of this study is to create awareness on the risk factors of stress and importance of stress management programs. Materials and Methods: An online questionnaire was administered to the IT professionals through survey planet link. Results and Conclusion: The data was statistically analyzed and results were interpreted. More awareness may be needed by the professionals on stress management programs.
