The article discusses the politicization of science in the U.S. Topics include the relationship between politics and many important biological issues, such as stem cell research, the political party most responsible for politicizing science, and comments from science historian Ron Doel at Florida State University and assistant professor of sociology at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Gordon Gauchat, on when science became suspect, specifically during the climate change debate.
