The author addresses the problematic between image and reality in relation to memory in a projective sense. From that starting point, he analyzes the Holocaust’s image highlighting the risk that may derive from its misuse, especially where the viewer’s perspective in relation to the problematic of pity and pleasure is obviated or manipulated.
