- Abstract
The article presents the case study of a 69-year-old woman with weakness, increased urinary frequency, burning micturition, and insomnia. A background of the patient is provided who has a history of recurrent urinary tract infections and was on antidepressants and antihypertensives. The results of the patient's urine analysis is discussed which led to the diagnosis of co-infestation with Balantine-like ciliate and Giardia spp. and received oral metranidazole for a week.
