- Abstract
The article presents a study on the issue of adherence to regular screening for cervical cancer in Singapore. It explores the community based cross sectional survey which was carried among 726 women of 30 to 59 years old with regular pap smears. It mentioned that 62.4% who have an overall screening prevalence and only 42% reported having regular screening. Moreover, there are some who have screened as part of postnatal or family planning visits than the purpose only of screening. It highlights the one third of women who ever had a pap smear do not return for regular screening.
