The article focuses on the impact of capital account liberalisation and internationalisation of the renminbi on the global investment position of China by 2025. Topics include increase in the gross investment position of China from five percent to 30 percent of world gross domestic product (GDP), financial links between China and Great Britain, and impact of China's economic growth on global liquidity. Also mentioned are the joint efforts of the Bank of England with the People's Bank of China.
