- Title
How do individual UK producer prices behave?
- Authors
Burns, Philip; Ellis, Colin
- Abstract
The article assesses the behaviour of individual manufacturing output prices in Great Britain between 2003 and 2007 by using data made available by the Office for National Statistics. It indicates that textile and clothing products' prices change the least while the prices of energy products change the most often. It notes that prices in general appear to change more often in industries where costs of manufactures are accounted for by basic commodities.
