Abstract
The article considered that nitro substituents on aromatic rings are best known as classic electron-withdrawing groups, and when exploited in synthesis, reduction to an amino substituent or substitution by diazotization is commonly known. Topics include reports that it describe a reaction that uses an MoO2Cl2(dmf)2 complex to introduce a fused ring to a 2-substituted nitrobenzene.
