- Abstract
The article cites a study on the science interests and activities of adolescents in the U.S. The objectives of this study is to determine the characteristics of adolescents interested in science and the implications of these for science education. Adolescents interested in science were selected on the basis of voluntary participation in science activities. The study of individuals who participated in this activity gave a sampling of science-interested adolescents. The adolescent interested in science may come from a variety of social or economic backgrounds.
