- Title
Meltblown nonwoven technology by Rieter.
- Abstract
This article reports that the synergies between the machinery company Rieter Automatik GmbH in Germany and Rieter Perfojet in France allow to integrate a new meltblown concept into the line of Rieter Textile Systems, as of March 2003. At the end of 2002, Rieter installed a meltdown unit in the Rieter Automatik Technical Center in Germany. Due to the unique compact design of the meltblown unit, the nonwoven producer will shorten the time for cleaning and will reduce the investments in building. With the spunbond/meltblown/spunbond concept, producers achieve unique properties of uniformity. Rieter Perfojet has sold complete spunlace lines, from fibers opening to spunlace nonwoven winding. The advantage for spunlace producers is to have only one supplier who takes responsibility for the entire equipment performance, as well as the final product qualities.
