- Title
Helping Aquaculture Cope with Rising Ocean Temperatures.
- Abstract
The article focuses on water temperature forecasting in Australia. It states that marine scientists are conducting trials to provide water temperature forecasts for aquaculture farm managers in connection with the ocean warming due to climate change, which can affect the performance of the salmon industry. Doctor Alistair Hobday of CSIRO Climate Adaptation Flagship says that the project is a response to the request of major salmon companies in Tasmania.
