- Abstract
The article titled "Soft Mesocrystal Enabled Multi‐Degree Light Modulation" discusses a new method for achieving multi-degree light modulation using blue-phase mesocrystals. The authors, Yanqing Lu, Wei Hu, and their colleagues, propose a mapping relationship between the optical degrees of freedom (spin, wavelength, and geometric phase of light) and the hierarchical structures of the mesocrystals (chirality of helix, cubic lattice constant, and azimuthal orientation of lattices). This research offers a promising strategy for large-scale parallel and multi-degree light modulations. The authors of the article are Quanming Chen, Xinyue Wang, Chunting Xu, Hongchen Chu, Hongguan Yu, Cheng Ouyang, Yun Lai, Zhigang Zheng, Xiao Liang, Yanqing Lu, and Wei Hu.
