- Abstract
In this paper, investigate effect of microstrip antenna over human head and a comparative study of the distance effects of human head from mobile phone on temperature distributions and Specific Absorption Rate (SAR). Human Head is one of the most sensitive tissue when exposure electromagnetic fields. These structures are modeled and numerically tested by using Finite Element Method (FEM). Then E-fields and SAR were evaluated using Comsol Multiphysics being capable of performing precise 3D simulations. The effects of variation of distance of mobile phone from human head (0-10mm) by step 2 mm are investigated. Results showed that by increasing the distance from exposure source, the temperature value and SAR value, are decreased. Across the distance of 0-10 mm, the SAR value increased up to approximately 74% higher. In the verification process the calculation results of the modified case obtained were compared with the same geometric model obtained by Nurulhuda binti Ismail and Mohd Zarar bin Mohd Jenu [26].
