- Abstract
The article focuses on a study which explored whether changes in the business environment have affected knowledge acquisition in cross-border acquisitions (CBAs) following the Asian crisis. A questionnaire was given to chief executive officers of Korean firms partially acquired by foreign investors. Results of the study showed that compatible organizational culture was important in CBAs. It also cited foreign expatriate expert participation as one of the key factors to knowledge acquisitions.
