- Abstract
The article provides information on a U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) study which investigated the prevalence of coronary heart disease (CHD) or stroke among workers aged <55 years in the U.S. for the period 2008-2012. Topics covered include the components of the Total Worker Health Program launched by the Department of Health and Human Services to address cardiovascular disease, and the two industry groups found to have significantly higher adjusted ratios for CHD/stroke.
