The article attempts to address the lingering anomalies that exist in U.S. copyright law. According to the author, there are several instances where the U.S. appeared to be impermissibly stingy in the protection it accords to Berne Convention claimants. The author proposes the implementation of the Copyright Duration Amendment of 1992 for addressing international copyright issues.
